Award-winning Civil War author's book discounted for Patriot Day
In recognition of Patriot Day on Sept. 11, award-winning author Jessica James' Civil War novel "Shades of Gray" will be discounted by more than 40 percent by her publisher, Patiot Press, at their Web site www.patriotpressbooks.com.

Patriot Day was signed into law in December of 2001 as a day to remember those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on our country by Muslim extremists.
"We talked about donating a portion of each book sold to a worthy cause," James explained, "but then decided to give the discount directly to the people buying the book. Our main motivation is to bring attention to this important day in our history so that people will reflect on the lives lost and think about our country's future."
