Sketch Maven to Donate 10% of Comic Art Sales to Haiti Relief Efforts
For 48 hours Sketch Maven will donate 10% from every original comic book art sale to the Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund

SANTA CLARA, CA, January 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For two days, Sunday January 17 and Monday January 18, Sketch Maven will be donating 10% from all its sales for Haitian relief efforts. Sketch Maven is a marketplace where collectors can buy and sell original comic art. Certain sellers in the marketplace will also be donating pages from which 100% of the proceeds will go to charity. Sketch Maven will donate the money to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund this Tuesday so that the funds will be available for immediate use.

"This is one of the most tragic natural disasters of our lifetime," says Mike Todasco, founder of Sketch Maven. "We want to do whatever we can to raise some money for Haitians and hope other companies will continue this trend."

"Above all else, we encourage our customers to donate what they can directly to the American Red Cross or any number of reputable organizations." A list of organizations and other timely information about the relief effort can be found at http://www.google.com/relief/haitiearthquake .
