LOCUST GROVE, GA, October 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Beverly J. Bowers, Floral Designer and Wedding and Event Planner for Beverly J. Bowers Special Events, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in event management.

As an event planner, Beverly J. Bowers puts herself in the shoes of the people whose functions she is organizing. This personal touch defines all her endeavors for her eponymous event management firm. Currently thriving in her eighth year at the helm of Beverly J. Bowers Special Events, she excels at organizing weddings and other special events and rendering interior and floral design. Prior to striking out on her own, Mrs. Bowers honed her interior design skills at JC Penney. She ventured into event management and interior design after 20 years of working as a dental assistant. Now focused solely on her first love, she considers watching a bride and groom enjoy their special day to be the most rewarding aspect of her work. She attributes her success to her upbringing.

In addition to running her business, Mrs. Browers volunteers regularly with the City of Locus Grove, for which she has been doing event and city planning since 2005. She completed training in interior design, floral design, photography and event planning at Clayton State University, from which she graduated with honors. She also obtained a diploma in event planning and wedding planning from Ashworth College. She maintains active affiliation with The Red Hat Society. In the coming years, Mrs. Browers aspires to expand her business and plans to hire a business partner to help her develop the company.
